Worship Experience

It is never easy to visit a church for the first time so we want to be as helpful as we can to make your experience a good one. We all were new, at one time, and we remember what it's like. So we've provided the information below, knowing that it's easier to venture into a new place when you know what to expect.

A church's worship experience typically reflects the personality of that church. Simply spend an hour with us on Sunday and you will see our passion for dynamic, meaningful worship. The message of our worship is unchanging: God is worthy to be praised and He desires to have an intimate, personal relationship with each of us.

Arrival

When you walk through the front doors of CLC you will be met by a greeter who will welcome you and give you our weekly Sunday bulletin. They can also answer any questions you may have at that time.

If you have children, they are welcome to join you in the sanctuary for the worship service, however we encourage you to take advantage of our children's church program. A greeter can help you find where they should go. Our workers will give 100% of their care while making it a fun experience to learn about lessons from the Bible. A nursery is available for infants through 2-year olds. Our best volunteers are helping with our little ones so you can focus on having a great experience in the service. Their background checks have been cleared so that you can be worry-free.

Once any children are settled, you may proceed to the sanctuary and seat yourself. Sit wherever you feel comfortable and don’t worry about anyone making you stand up and say your name. While waiting for the service to begin, it's a good time to browse the bulletin and watch our "big screen" for upcoming events and other information.

Worship

Our service begins when the worship team on stage begins their music. Our worship team works hard to provide us with an experience where we can connect with and worship God through music and song. We have live, edgy, relevant, upbeat worship, as well as more low-key intimate songs. The lyrics will be on the screen for you to follow.

Everyone is different and worships in their own personal way. You may see some people expressing their love for God by clapping, raising their hands and even dancing. Others may close their eyes, and sit quietly while reflecting on the words in the songs. You're welcome to do whatever makes you feel most comfortable.

Offering

Every Sunday we take a few minutes to worship God through the giving of tithes and offerings. As a visitor, please do not feel any pressure to give. This is an act of worship for our regular attendees, allowing them to thank God for all of the great work He is doing in their lives, and an act of obedience in giving according to scriptural principles. The offering received allows CLC the means to reach more people for Christ in the future.

Sermon

Every Sunday, you will hear a relevant, straightforward message that is based on Scripture and is designed to be helpful in your everyday life. These messages will help you develop a growing, passionate relationship with Jesus Christ and provide a strong biblical foundation for your life. Sometimes, drama, video or other creative elements will be used during the course of the service.

Communion

Once a month, we celebrate communion together. Anyone can participate in this time of reflection and prayer - as long as they've made the decision to follow Jesus Christ. The juice and bread that we share represent the life He gave up so that our sins could be forgiven.

Prayer

Prior to the closing of each service, if not before, there will be an opportunity to receive prayer at the altar. Our pastor and other prayer team members will be more than happy to minister to you in prayer for any need you may have. Please don't be shy about taking this opportunity.
